We are pleased to announce that the Annals of Blood (AOB) has attained its latest impact factor for the 2025 citation year: 1.4 (Figure 1).

Annals of Blood (ISSN 2521-361X; Ann Blood; AOB) is published by AME Publishing Company, with support from Wolters Kluwer (the journal content will be made available on Wolters Kluwer Health’s Lippincott and Ovid platforms). It is the official journal of Guangzhou Blood Center, a nonprofit institute committed to clinical blood supply, scientific research and education related to transfusion medicine and hematology. In line with the Center’s principles, AOB aims at prompting the development of transfusion medicine and hematology research, and providing a professional platform for physicians and investigators internationally to share advanced research results, clinical experience and innovative ideas. AOB is indexed and covered by Web of Science [Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)] and Scopus.
The announcement of the journal’s latest impact factor reflects the growing influence and academic recognition of the journal within the fields of transfusion medicine and hematology. - 37 AME journals received a Journal Impact Factor (JIF) this year, with three journals receiving their first JIF
